"With a flash of anger Thursday morning, President Barack Obama offered a blistering critique of "a small group of speculators" who refused to go along with the government's plan to keep Chrysler out of bankruptcy."
Ahhh, nothing hew here. Same old verbiage of shouting overwhelming support for "the people" while demonizing entrepreneurs just to garner popularity from the masses on what in reality is an unpopular idea to the average American (how many of you want to deal with the government on your car warranty...it is a horrible process now, imagine if it got lost in the depths of Washington).

tea parties are not about bi-partisan politics. they are a rebellion against ineffective government. strangled by its own rules, regulations, policies, statutes and laws, our government can only demand more of our money while in essence it is a dead entity. you cant have taxation with representation when your government is a corpse!

We need to cut the blood supply (taxes)to the growing cancer (Washington DC.) Each state should start asking for a constitutional convention. Start talking about repealing the federal income tax and Washington DC will begin to listen. To few, telling the many what, where, and how to live.

There is upside, downside, and spinside to the series of events over the last week that culminated in the dramatic rescue of an American hostage.
Almost immediately following word of the rescue, the Obama administration and its supporters claimed victory against pirates in the Indian Ocean and declared that the dramatic end to the standoff put paid to questions of the inexperienced president’s toughness and decisiveness.
Despite the Obama administration's (and its sycophants') attempt to spin the success as a result of bold, decisive leadership by the inexperienced president, the reality is nothing of the sort.
What should have been a standoff lasting only hours - as long as it took the USS Bainbridge and its team of NSWC operators to steam to the location - became an embarrassing four day and counting standoff between a ragtag handful of criminals with rifles and a U.S. Navy warship.

Just ignore the protests. Just ignore Rush. Just ignore Fox.
The fact that you liberals can't indicates that you are worried about conservatives. There are more than you think and the entire Democrat program is banking on economic success. So far, the last time I checked, there are still nearly 6 million people unemployed. The DJIA is stuck in neutral. What is going to trigger even more defections from your base will be the increases in taxes that must accompany this trillion+ spending and more bailouts and foreclosures, which brings us back full circle to no jobs being created.

One of the persistent themes being voiced at the tea parties is the notion of "taxation without representation", a concept borrowed from the original Boston Tea Party.
However, we just had an election during which every adult citizen had the opportunity to vote. So what these folks are really complaining about is that their candidate(s) LOST!
This does not invalidate the election, people. All it means is that you are SORE LOSERS. Suck it up and try again in 2010.

Obama bowed down before a Saudi King? This was truly shocking to witness. Democrat or Republican, conservative or liberal, I don't want to see my president doing such a thing.

"My Administration is the only thing between you and the Pitchforks" This is the most disturbing comment made by a President in U.S. History. It shows the gross disregard Obama has for institutions that have built America's Industrial Strength. It is a cavalier attempt at broadening his powers over the banking community. It reveals a machiavelian tendency of Obama to characterize his self importance in threatening terms.

The Unconstitutional President - how's that for a statement of fact?
Call him what you will, "Hugo Obama" or "Barack Chavez", our current President is obviously intent on destroying this country. He's taken over the banks - Nationalizing (a socialist method of hostile takeover with no poison pill available to the firm being taken over) many of them; forcing out the CEO of GM - now called "Government Motors" by many.
Since when does the Office of the President of the United States have the "right" to determine who heads up a private-sector company? Under what article of the Constitution does this power fall?
Where do the limits of the Presidency end? Nowhere, apparently. And no one is actively standing up against him. Lots of talk, precious little action. A disturbing trend, and one that will result in the destruction of our Republic.

Am I the only one noticing that fascism is coming to America? Webster's defines fascism as "a political philosophy, movement, or regime that exalts nation and often race above the individual and that stands for a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition."
I know a lot of you are going to say I’m being absurd. Do you truly think one day you’re free and the next you’re under fascist control? It’s a slow process. In the name of progressivism, we have supporters of fascism right here in our country. If anyone thinks that the nation is not being exalted over the individual, you’re asleep.
Everything coming out of Washington is focused on the collective nation. We’re to "spread the wealth around." Homeschooling is coming under fire. What do the common folk know about educating a child? Hillary Clinton herself said, "it takes a village to raise a child."

Let's be real, do you really think that by giving tax payer money to banks and home loan institution's,that they are going to bring us out of this mess.If I recall, aren't they the one's who created this fiasco. I say put the money back in the hands of the tax payer who makes under 250,000 a year, and see how that works.I'm not talking about some slap in the face 600 dollars. Send everyone who made 250,000 dollars or less a check for half of what their gross income was when they filed taxes. If they still had a job. People will spend that money and help create supply and demand again. The 600 dollars some people received, probably went into their gas tank, which went right back to the hurting oil industry.

Heath care debate translation: What, citizens, you have a opinion? We don't care - and if you speak up, we will use the media to brand and arrest you disbelievers!!
Democrats have accused Republicans of sanctioning mob tactics, and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., accused protesters of trying to sabotage the democratic process.
The Republican Party says it's not behind the protests, but Reid scoffed at the notion that the protesters reflect grass-roots sentiment. He held up a piece of artificial turf during a session with reporters.
"These are nothing more than destructive efforts to interrupt a debate that we should have, and are having," Reid said Thursday. "They are doing this because they don't have any better ideas.
They have no interest in letting the negotiators, even though few in number, negotiate. It's really simple: they're taking their cues from talk show hosts, Internet rumor-mongerers ... and insurance rackets."
Republicans answered back.
"All the polls show there is serious concern, if not outright opposition, to the president's health care plan," said Antonia Ferrier, spokeswoman for House Republican Leader John Boehner of Ohio. "Democrats are ginning up this cynical shell game."

Obama's apologies to Europe are Incredibly Naive. Former Ambassador John Bolten stated: "If these are the thoughts rambling around inside the presidential brain that's guiding our foreign policy, I'm very troubled by this. This is somebody who does not have a very basic grounding in not just contemporary history but history of the relationship between the United States and Europe over a long period of time."

What is this all about?
Our nation's independence movement was inspired by the Patrick Henry assertion that "taxation without representation constituted tyranny". We had no vote or say in King George's England on tax policy, trade policy, or tariffs.
Today, we face a different threat - one in our nations capital and leadership. Many believe that recent economic events have forced US citizens into accepting government oversight and control which we never agreed to.
Which begs the question: What Would Our Founding Fathers Do?
